A Father-and-Child Team Confronts Teen Mental Health Stigma

When I was a production assistant for Multiplatform Initiatives, a subgroup of The WNET Group, I had the opportunity to co-write and co-produce a Q & A relating to the topic of mental health and teen suicide. I, along with my colleague, interviewed Micah Fink, a documentary filmmaker and his teenager who identifies as non-binary, Sydney Fink. Together, they started a podcast called “Conversations with Sydney.” I learned so much from being apart of this project. It was a very rewarding experience to be able to speak with them both and have an important discussion surrounding teen suicide and mental health.
