Raised on Long Island, in New York, Emily has always had a love for storytelling. From a young age, she became introduced to writing and she then found her passion and purpose in life. Currently she is studying at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism in Times Square, working towards her MA in Journalism, with a focus in health and science and visual journalism.
